I was appalled by the lack of security access due to the open back patio, which made me feel unsafe throughout my stay. Additionally, dirty elements such as grime on light switches and questionable stains on the walls declined my experience significantly. I expect better standards in cleanliness when I pay for a hotel stay.

Oh man, if you're a foodie, you're in for a treat! Just a short stroll from Bel Air Motor, you’ve got gems like El Camino Cafe and Rutabegorz to satisfy your cravings! Plus, the room was super clean and nicely remodeled. The air conditioning kept us cool, and the long hours of Netflix bingeing were seamless with the reliable Wi-Fi.

But, let’s be honest, I wasn't thrilled to find some trash left behind from the last guest. The bathroom door was a bit wonky, and the TV decided to play games with us by not working.

during my stay, I was thrilled to find plenty of cozy restaurants just a few steps away, and it was refreshing to stroll through Hart Park, which is only a little over 4 km away and perfect for enjoying a park view after a day of urban exploring.

The location was decent, with nearby eateries offering a variety of meal options. However, entering my room revealed a strong odor of smoke despite the establishment's non-smoking policy, and I was disappointed to find no smoke detector in my room. The cleanliness left much to be desired, as I noted dirt in several places around the hotel.

Not for everyone

Had to change rooms after smelling weed in my first one. The second room was big, but still smelled like smoke from the hallway, had to stuff paper under the door to block it out. And there was a strange writing on the bathroom mirror.

It wasn't exactly inexpensive for what I got, but I guess it was bearable.

The convenient location made it easy to explore local eateries, and I felt super cozy in the room after getting an extra blanket.
